Redford Connection
It is with great regret that “RC” was euthanized in the fall of 2006 due to complications of rhino. He was not here long but became a barnyard favorite. His disposition was second to none. |

Redford Connection, a 1994 AQHA Blue Roan Stallion, came to RC Performance Horses in the spring of 2006. We had looked a long time for a quality blue roan stallion prospect and after a lot of looking found “RC” to fit the bill. Due to an injury as a 2 yr. old “RC” had a short show career, but has gone on to sire colts with size, disposition, versatility, and color.
RC was sired by the Big Connection, a blue roan. His dam, a granddaughter of Robert Redford, was a red roan. He had 5 generations of roan ancestors top & bottom. He had a nice combination of performance and halter horses in his pedigree.

We liked Redford Connection so much that we went in search of another Robert Redford bred colt. Redford’s Stagebird, a 2006 AQHA Blue Roan Stallion, is our new stallion prospect. With his size, breeding, disposition, and color, we feel good about this colt becoming the future for our breeding operation. He is out of a line bred Robert Redford stud who sires 60% blue roans.
